Galway Bay

The famous version of "Galway Bay" was composed by Arthur Colahan, a Galway-born physician living in Leicester, England, in 1942, though an earlier song ("My Own Dear Galway Bay") was written earlier by Francis Arthur Fahy (1854–1935), a poet from Kinvara on the southern shores of Galway Bay, and based on an older Irish emigrant ballad. Arranged for accordion.
